We moved from Michigan to Charlotte, NC. We loved driving around and seeing other people with Michigan license plates on their cars. It made you feel like you had a connection with that person. However when we got our North Carolina license plates we were very sad because how were others going to know where we were from now. So the idea of MovedFrom.com was born.
We know that Charlotte is an area where so many people are moving to, it is almost hard to find people that are native to Charlotte, so we know many others have to feel the same way. They are happy to be here but still want to connect with others and show people where they are from. We know that this will be a great tool to use to connect with others and show others where you came from; and even though you may never want to move back to where you came from you are still proud of it and want to share with others (or show them that you were smart enough to escape too!)
